De-(and Re-)Publishing AN UNLIKELY PHOENIX

It probably won’t be much of a blip on anyone’s radar but I wanted to report that I’ve depublished my title An Unlikely Phoenix by Frank Zafiro.

In other news, I’ve published a new title by Frank Scalise called An Unlikely Phoenix.

Let me briefly explain. An Unlikely Phoenix was a Frank Zafiro novel for about four years (2018-22). But I never felt like it was quite right for that catalog. Yes, one of the main characters was a police officer, and yes, the book did explore law enforcment issues in the greater context of all that is happening in the novel as a whole… but it still just didn’t seem to fit with the other titles.

Given that my Frank Scalise catalog is far more eclectic, ranging from hockey to historical fiction, literary to comedy, I decided that An Unlikely Phoenix worked better as a Frank Scalise novel. So, as of today, I’ve transitioned it over to that authorship.

You may still be able to find or buy versions with the Frank Zafiro name on them. I’m not saying they are collectibles exactly, but… well, they might be.
